Overview

Working within a team environment to help produce embroidery products sold at Aggie Print and Mail. Activities include; preparing clothing and products for production, operating embroidery equipment, prepping items for delivery, etc.

 

Hours of operation: 8am – 5pm. You would set your hours during that time period, flexibility desired to meet time sensitive deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Operate embroidery equipment, regular maintenance, etc.
  • Monitor inventory usage trends for setting maximum and minimum inventory levels to ensure adequate inventory of supplies are available for production.
  • Works with area coordinator to ensure that customer needs are being met and works to continuously improve the process.
  • Performs labor and maintenance duties as a working member of the departments.
  • Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned throughout operations at Aggie Print and Mail.
  • Positive attitude, willing to learn new things, willing to manage and be managed.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A good attitude, willing to learn new skills.

  • Knowledge of embroidery process.
  • Experience operating embroidery equipment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, management and customers.
  • Ability to work with staff, including organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
  • Willing to learn.
  • Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

Employees work indoors and are protected from weather and/or contaminants, but may experience occasional temperature changes. This position requires moderate physical activity, including handling objects up to 10 pounds and standing or walking for extended periods of time. Duties require attention to detail and frequent use of hands for tasks such as threading needles, hooping, trimming, and similar repetitive motions.
