Overview

The Recruiter is in the Office of Utah State University Admissions and Recruiting with their reporting line to that office. Recruiters are assigned a "territory" and are responsible for recruitment efforts including: contact with potential students, junior college visits, open houses, college fairs, and other activities associated with successful recruiting practices (i.e. information sessions, off-campus recruitment activities, and providing an overview of University programs/majors, as well as other duties as assigned). Because recruitment at Utah State is a team effort, candidates will be instrumental in providing team leadership in the recruitment of targeted student populations, exploring/identifying potential growth markets, and building relationships among all USU campuses and sites. To accomplish this, attendance at regular recruitment trainings and meetings will be required.
