Overview

This job is to help conduct applied research and Extension programs.  This may include developing project reports, analyzing and collecting data, developing Extension curriculum, and conducting literature reviews.  Work will include tribal entrepreneurship, economic impact analysis, econometrics, feasibility studies, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Project Support: Coordinates project team, conducting reviews of literature, overseeing data collection and analysis, help with feasibility studies and summarizing findings in reports. 
  • Extension education and programs; work with project team to develop educational materials and disseminate project findings. 
  • Help monitor projects, collect and summarize evaluations and develop reports for funded projects.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS in agricultural economics, economics or related field. 

  • Experience in doing projects including both research and Extension information dissemination.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MS in Economics, Agriculture Economics or related field. 

  • Experience with econometrics, economic impact analysis, project overview including data collection and analysis.

  • Experience with feasibility studies.

  • 5 years experience.
