Overview

Provide business consulting to businesses in regards to COVID-19. This position will make themselves and expert in SBA economic relief programs such as PPP and EIDL loans. This position will assist businesses in the southeast region of Utah, specifically in the area of marketing, recover from COVID-19 related economic loss. All business consulting will be done REMOTELY.

Responsibilities

CARES Act Business Consultant: The primary functions of this position will be to familiarize and keep up to date on COVID-19 economic relief programs specifically those instituted by the SBA. They will consult local businesses in loan forgiveness, loan applications, grant applications etc. They will also provide business consulting to businesses in general as it relates to COVID-19 relief, with an emphasis on marketing.

Other duties as assigned may include general business counseling or assisting in SBDC training programs throughout the southeast Region.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in a business related field or 4 years' relevant experience in either marketing or banking/lending.

Employees work indoors and are protected from weather and/or contaminants, but not, necessarily, occasional temperature changes.  The employee is regularly required to sit and often uses repetitive hand motions. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms and may lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
