University Marketing & Communications is looking for a creative and dependable individual to assist with the creation and delivery of marketing videos and photo content. We are looking for someone with proven experience, is attentive to detail, and has a creative eye. This position will report to our Director of Video and Imaging and work on a team of talented creatives.

We create everything from 30-second national commercials, social ads, and a variety of other video content that represents Utah State University and the Statewide Campuses.


  • Maintain and organize assets – keywording/renaming in Lightroom and Kyno
  • Follow guidance and work with marketing managers to complete video edits
  • Operate DSLR cameras, lighting and audio during productions
  • Communicate and update status of tasks in Clickup (project management platform)


  • 2+ years of video editing experience, FCPX preferred
  • Understanding of foundational skills related to shooting video and photo
  • Proficiency in export settings – resolution, codecs, bitrate
  • Ability to complete tasks and work without direct supervision
  • Knowledge of Final Cut Pro X and Lightroom
  • Detail oriented – excellent written and verbal communication

Daytime availability is a must with occasional evening and weekend requirements.

Advertised Salary

$13.00 - $15.00 per hour


Employees work indoors and are protected from weather and/or contaminants, but not, necessarily, occasional temperature changes. The employee is regularly required to sit and often uses repetitive hand motions.
