Overview

The Quinney College of Natural Resources partners with the United States Forest Service, Utah Division of Wildlife Resources, Utah Forestry, Fire and State Lands, National Parks and Non-Profit agencies to provide valuable professional experience to students during the summer. This program is an integral part of our college and helps students begin building their professional experience as soon as their freshman year. The summer of 2022 QCNR will be partnering with approximately 18 agencies to provide 38 summer positions for student enrolled in the Quinney College of Natural Resources. The environment and physical requirements may change depending on the specific function of the work each department performs. Incumbents may be in both indoor and outdoor environments. This position requires moderate physical effort. Employees must have sufficient strength to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position, including lifting up to 25 pounds, walking and standing. Employees must adhere to safety precautions and may be required to use protective equipment.
