Overview

Dream Team – Join Utah State Dining Service’s Marketing team!

 

The Dream Team is a part of the Marketing department for USU Dining Services. We handle all customer related issues and come up with all signage, digitally and printed for all 15 dining locations on campus. We also participate in University related events such as day-on-the-quad, orientation etc. in addition to planning our own events such as tabling’s and giveaways. We do what we can every day to spread a little happiness on campus and to Create an Excellent College Experience for students, faculty, and staff!

The Marketing Assistant will be the first person customers communicate with when they have a problem or send in feedback. Marketing Assistant must handle complaints/comments, provide appropriate solutions, and follow up to resolve any issues with their customers experience. In addition to customer satisfaction surveys, the Marketing Assistant will also conduct various in-person surveys for product testing etc. often while handing out samples of food. The Marketing Assistant will also help Marketing Manager brainstorm, plan and execute events on USU campus. At various occasions, the Marketing Assistant will also assist in technical and creative writing and creating designs for print or digital.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the resolution of customer complaints by responding to tickets created in Qualtrics XM
  • Brainstorm and plan events around USU Campus
  • Conduct in-person surveys
  • Samplings of various food
  • Track coupon redemption
  • Help with various designs for social media/print/TV’s etc.
  • Keep team buggy clean and fueled up

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Excellent communications skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Highly organized
  • Teachable and open minded
  • 18 years or older
  • Valid U.S. Driver’s license

Preferred Qualification:

  • Thorough knowledge of the products/services Dining Services offers
  • Familiar with Canva and/or Adobe Illustrator
  • 1-year experience in customer service and/or marketing
