Overview

The Classroom facilitator will be working at the Utah State University Eastern center in Price. Hours vary depending on need and will be scheduled anytime between 7:30 AM-10:45 PM Monday through Friday, and occasional Saturdays 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM. Hours are scheduled according to the IVC class schedule, plus 15 minutes before any class time. Hours will be up to 19 hours per week and will change with each semester.

  • This is an ACA variable position.
  • This is for the Fall 2022 Semester the job will start August 17, 2022.

Responsibilities

The classroom facilitator serves a variety of functions in a classroom setting. Duties include:

  • Assisting students and instructors by operating classroom equipment that is essential to the delivery of interactive video conference (IVC) classes.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality of student and co-worker information.
  • Professional and effective communication is required and expected.
  • Distributing and collecting classroom materials, proctoring exams and quizzes and maintaining a proper, quiet learning environment.
  • Maintain accurate class rolls and classroom materials records.
  • Act as liaison between students, University instructors and University administrators and staff.
  • Other duties as assigned.
