The Classroom Facilitator works with Interactive Broadcast instructors and students to ensure a beneficial learning environment. This part-time, non-benefited position works in Kaysville, UT. The position hours and days may change each semester but are mostly evenings on Monday through Thursday. Must be available to work Tuesday and Thursday evenings.

• Assist students and instructors by operating classroom equipment that is essential to the delivery of telecommunication classes.
• Assist with special events as needed, such as Extension classes.
• Distribute and collect classroom materials, proctor exams and quizzes, and maintain a proper quiet learning environment.
• Maintain accurate class rolls and attendance records.
• Act as a liaison between students, University Instructors, and University Administrators.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Requires a basic knowledge of computers.
• Willingness to learn simple technology skills.
• Must be extremely dependable, maintain confidentiality of student information, and always work with integrity.
• Be able to communicate effectively face-to-face, over telephone, on IVC equipment and via electronic communication tools.
• Experience with operating and trouble-shooting broadcast equipment.
