Utah State University Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) is seeking a Staff Therapist to join our energetic, professional, experienced, and good natured staff to serve USU-Statewide Campuses. Utah State University continues its tradition of land-grant outreach by delivering quality education to students across the state. USU Blanding is located in Utah's Canyon Country in the southeastern corner of the state. Blanding City and the surrounding area provides a beautiful back-drop for a stellar education. Residents and visitors have the opportunity to experience beautiful scenery and varied outdoor activities from site-seeing and museums to climbing, hiking, and ATV trail-riding. More degrees than ever before, Utah State University was founded as Utah's land-grant university and as such the mission is to provide higher education throughout Utah.
The Blanding Campus adds to this mission by providing traditional and technical education to students throughout southeastern Utah: https://blanding.usu.edu/learning/index
Founded in 1977, the Utah State University Blanding Campus opens doors for residents in Utah's remote southeast corner, including Native Americans in the Four-Corner region. It is a college campus small enough to keep students from getting lost in the crowd, but with connections large enough to offer them endless possibilities. It is a stepping stone from high school to college and onto a successful career. The Blanding Campus also supports many learning centers in the Four-Corners area, providing educational access to dozens of sites in a service region of more than 40,000 square miles, half of which are in tribal lands.
