Overview

Part time custodial position will be off campus at the CTE Buildings in the Creekveiw Shopping Center. This position consist of keeping campus buildings in clean and orderly condition by performing the following duties: sweeping, mopping, scrubbing and vacuuming dorms, classrooms, hallways, stairs, restrooms and office spaces. Empties trash containers and cleans carpets, walls, and windows. Reports to supervisor concerning needed repairs to lighting, doors, and plumbing systems. Cleans snow and debris from sidewalks and building entrances. Other duties as assigned.

The position requires considerable physical activity. Employees must have sufficient strength to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position including heavy lifting (50 pounds) and/or pushing and pulling of heavy objects.  Employees must be prepared to assume uncomfortable positions such as crawling, kneeling, and squatting. Additionally, the work environment can include confined or narrow spaces. Employees must adhere to safety precautions and may be required to use protective equipment.
