Dr. Peter Adler (Utah State University) and Dr. Matt Germino (USGS) are seeking experienced field ecologists to help implement and monitor a series of experiments focused on understanding how climate change will affect the trajectory of the cheatgrass (Bromus tectorum) invasion in the Intermountain West.

The positions are stationed in Boise, Idaho with Germino's research group. These are seasonal, hourly positions (Minimum $13, commensurate with experience). As of 03/30/2023 applications are being accepted and reviewed. 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assist with implementation of large common garden experiments, including seed preparation, site preparation, and seed planting.
• Collection of data on plant species composition.
• Data entry, including digitization of maps using ArcGIS, and QAQC.

Minimum qualifications:

• Previous field experience.
• Knowledge of Intermountain West flora.
• Ability to perform tedious tasks over long periods under adverse weather conditions.
