Overview

Be part of an exciting team that creates branding and communication materials for USU’s College of Engineering. This position is dynamic and can adapt to meet the best candidate’s strengths and interests. The job is open to anyone with interest in marketing, communication, or branding. Preference may be given to USU students pursuing a degree in graphic design, marketing, or public relations. The work is extremely rewarding, and our environment is relaxed and inclusive.

Responsibilities

Ideally, the person in this role would focus on three areas:

  1. Shooting and editing video for use in online news stories and social media content.
  2. Developing graphics and marketing materials for special events.
  3. Developing branded merchandise to be sold in our online store and for use by student clubs, departments, and research centers.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Intermediate experience with video production
  • Beginner or Intermediate experience with graphic design
  • Illustration skills are preferred but not necessary
  • Excellent writing abilities and interpersonal skills
  • Self-driven, dependable, and honest
  • A positive attitude
  • Link to an online portfolio of your best work
