Overview

The School of Graduate Studies seeks a Program Assistant II to support operations in the Graduate School office. Responsibilities will include managing electronic forms, processing application materials, managing student records in Banner, answering questions from email and telephone inquiries, calculating admission GPAs, supporting graduate recruitment and training events, and supporting other operations within the School of Graduate Studies.

Responsibilities

  • Manage electronic forms in ServiceNow (verifying information, tracking status).
  • Maintain the Graduate Faculty database.
  • Manage the Graduate School social media accounts.
  • Manage the Graduate School general email account, replying to inquiries or directing questions as appropriate.
  • Support and train Graduate Program Coordinators.
  • Process graduate applications as needed, download transcripts, calculate GPAs.
  • Work with the Project Management Team to support graduate student recruitment efforts, new graduate student orientation, and graduate training.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Two years of office related experience OR an Associates degree or Certification(s) in a related field.
  • Demonstrated customer service experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with web-based software tools, including Box, Banner, Recruit, and ServiceNow.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience with social media.
  • Experience with website design and maintenance.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a busy office environment and to be a team player.
  • Demonstrated experience and ability in maintaining confidential information.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.

Advertised Salary
