The Utah Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory (UVDL) at Utah State University seeks applicants for a Laboratory Technician II position in the serology and molecular sections.

• Perform agglutination tests & ELISA on animal blood or serum.
• Perform serum neutralization assays to determine antibody titers.
• Perform PCR-based assays on samples of animal origin.
• Participate in the laboratory's quality system, including completion of necessary proficiency tests.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Two years of relevant experience; or an associate degree/vocational training; or an equivalent combination of education plus experience is required.

• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Capacity to learn/master new techniques.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor of science degree in a biology-related field.
