Overview

The College of Agriculture and Applied Sciences at Utah State University is accepting applications for a Development Stewardship Coordinator (Coordinator Senior). This position requires a highly professional and experienced coordinator to work in a team-based office environment, requiring a high level of confidentiality. This individual will primarily assist the College Development Officers with fundraising operations; but also assist with administrative tasks and development related clerical support for day-to-day college-wide operations. This is a full-time, benefited position Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities

1. Development Operations (70%)

  • Plan and organize the college’s annual donor appreciation event(s)
  • Serve as the college’s representative on the Advancement Stewardship Committee
  • Work with the college’s scholarship award team to obtain student thank you letters and prepare development officer cover letters
  • Make notes in the donor database of dean and development officer activity
  • Coordinate with University Advancement to request data lists, mailings, and other fundraising activities
  • Monitor and report on daily gift receipts
  • Help coordinate development officer calendar and visit schedules
  • Perform administrative support tasks for the college development officers
  • Help Develop Donor Stewardship experiences and thank you gifts.
  • Help in Planning and Execution of College sponsored Alumni/Community Events
  • Additional development activities as assigned

2. Office Operations (30%)

  • Serve as the receptionist: greeting visitors, answering, screening, and routing telephone calls in a pleasant and professional manner. Scheduling appointments and rooms as requested
  • Perform administrative support tasks for Development team
  • Sending out weekly emails with upcoming events sponsored by the college’s various departments
  • Provide general support/event planning/coordination for the programs and events as required
  • Perform daily tasks associated with the smooth operation of the Development Office

3. Other duties as assigned 

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Six years of experience; or an associate degree/vocational training plus four years of experience; or a bachelor’s degree plus two years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience in event planning, alumni relations, donor relations and stewardship.

Advertised Salary
