Overview

The Jon M. Huntsman School of Business at Utah State University is accepting applications to fill one office assistant position to support the Freshman Academy and the Huntsman Scholar Program. Pay commensurate based on experience. The position will have a dual report to both the Director of She’s Daring Mighty and to the Assistant Director of the Huntsman Scholar Program.

These two programs bring together our business students inside and outside the classroom with incredible teachers for a one-of-a-kind undergraduate business education program. We structure our learning around our school's four pillars of ethical leadership, analytical rigor, global vision, and entrepreneurial spirit.

Responsibilities

  1. Provide administrative support to program leadership.
  2. Provide customer service to current and prospective scholars and other university and non-university constituents through
    office visits, phone calls, emails, etc.
  3. Perform general office duties.
  4. Assist with classroom support
  5. Ability to analyze program data
  6. Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate Degree and a minimum of two years of directly related work experience in an office environment or a Bachelor’s degree in business, communication studies, human development, marketing or related field. Or four years related work experience. 
  • Demonstrated excellence in customer service, relationship management, interpersonal leadership, effective mentoring, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communication studies, human development, marketing or related field
  • Knowledge of and proficiency in a variety of current and emerging technology platforms.
