Overview

Working within a team environment to help produce embroidery products sold at Aggie Print and Mail.

Activities include:

  • preparing clothing and products for production
  • operating embroidery equipment
  • Preparing items for delivery
  • other jobs as needed

Responsibilities

  1. Operate embroidery equipment, perform regular maintenance, etc.
  2. Monitor inventory usage trends for setting maximum and minimum inventory levels to ensure adequate inventory of supplies are available for production.
  3. Works with area coordinator to ensure that customer needs are being met and works to continuously improve the process.
  4. Performs labor and maintenance duties as a working member of the departments.
  5. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned throughout operations at Aggie Print and Mail.
  6. Hours of operation: 8 a.m.–5 p.m. You would set your hours during that time period, flexibility desired to meet time sensitive deadlines.
  7. Positive attitude, willing to learn new things, and willing to manage and be managed.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A good attitude, willing to learn new skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of embroidery process.
  • Experience operating embroidery equipment.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers, management and customers.
  • Ability to work with staff, including organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
  • Willing to learn.
  • Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

Advertised Salary

Employees work indoors and are protected from weather and/or contaminants, but not, necessarily, occasional temperature changes.  The employee is regularly required to sit and often uses repetitive hand motions.
