Overview

Join our dynamic team serving the Aviation Technology Department, which encompasses programs in flight, aviation mechanics, and drones with faculty and locations throughout the state. As a Business Assistant I, you will work with the Business Manager and play a vital role in assisting with the financial aspects of the department as well as assisting with policy inquiries.

Responsibilities

Business Services to Support the Aviation Program

 

  • P-Card review in ServiceNow
  • TA/TR review in ServiceNow
  • Process Envoy bi-weekly Payroll (not a part of AggieTime)
  • Manage PayPal Zettle app, as needed – email Card Office to add/remove sales items
  • Reconcile PayPal with Banner and submit monthly Transmittal
  • Annual equipment Inventory
  • Cross train and be back up for the Aviation Program's current Business Assistant III
  • Other duties as assigned that could include:
    • Assist with Lay-Over Day – Fall/Spring
    • Assist with Annual Aviation Career Fair
    • Coordinate Financial details with Annual Silent Auction at Banquet during Spring Aviation Week

 

Business Services to Support the Price FBO Program

  • Reconcile Avfuel hub and Process Daily Transmittal
  • Submit Open PO’s for Fuel
  • Update FBO positions on contracts with Statewide
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Two years of related work experience; or an associate degree/technical training in a related field is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of USU software programs including Service Now, Banner, and Argos.
