Overview

The Jon M. Huntsman School of Business at Utah State University is accepting applications for a full-time Corporate Relations Manager (Program Coordinator III). The incumbent is responsible for building and maintaining effective relationships with corporate and institutional partners for the purpose of developing quality full-time, internship and experiential learning opportunities for Huntsman students. This position will report to the Director of External Relations.

Responsibilities

The incumbent is responsible for a wide range of stakeholder engagement activities, including but not limited to, the following:

  • Building robust relationships with a portfolio of Huntsman Community members, specifically employers and alumni.
  • Securing sponsorships for the Huntsman School.
  • Assisting with planning and execution of student, alumni and donor events.
  • Systematically engaging corporate and community contacts to expand opportunities for our students, build strategic partnerships, and further the mission of the School.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of progressively responsible experience in customer relationship management, sales or fundraising, or equivalent education plus experience. Event planning and management experience are a plus.
  • Ability to build relationships and interact comfortably with a wide variety of stakeholders, including executive level contacts, corporate professionals, students, alumni, advisory board members, and internal constituencies.
  • Demonstrated ability professionally communicate through a variety of means (email, text, phone, video, and face-to-face).
  • Experience asking for commitments, which may include sponsorships, partnerships, sales, etc.
  • Experience utilizing and tracking activity in a CRM. Basic knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint/Google Slides, Zoom and personal computer use.
  • Ability to work with limited supervision, as well as collaboratively within a team.

Preferred Qualification:

  • Technical background, i.e. work experience or education focused on data analytics, information systems, coding, etc.
