The Digital Content Creator (Multimedia Associate) develops engaging and creative digital content tailored for Utah State University’s YouTube and social media channels, targeting both potential and current students. They play a pivotal role in pushing forward the institution’s YouTube and social media presence, creating new digital strategies, and engaging the institution’s audience.
The Digital Content Creator excels in producing high-quality video content, demonstrating proficiency in video production, editing, and storytelling techniques. They possess a deep understanding of YouTube's best practices and trends, ensuring content aligns with brand requirements and audience expectations. Additionally, they maintain an organized content calendar and analytics tracking system to evaluate viewer engagement and channel growth. This individual should also display a high level of understanding for social media content as it pertains to Instagram, Facebook, X, and LinkedIn. Experience with photography, graphic design, AI, and web content will help this individual excel in this position.
As digital content evolves, this candidate will pursue opportunities for new digital content creation within AI, Virtual Environments, the Metasphere, etc.
This position is contingent upon the availability of funding. Continuation of the role beyond the initial appointment period is subject to ongoing funding and departmental needs.
