The Systems Administrator I manages and supports data systems and processes within the Division of Strategic Enrollment Management (SEM) at Utah State University. Reporting to the Director/Senior Systems Administrator in the Department of Enrollment Strategy and Innovation, this position provides technical guidance to staff and student workers on system operations and data-related tasks. The role's primary responsibility is to implement and manage a new transcript automation software that will significantly improve the efficiency of transcript processing. Additionally, the Systems Administrator I will oversee the maintenance of other critical systems used by SEM departments, including the current CRM (Ellucian Recruit), as the university transitions to Salesforce over the next year. The role also involves managing data imports and exports across systems to streamline operations and enhance data accessibility.
