Overview

The Salesforce Support position is responsible for administering the cloud infrastructure at the Shingo Institute, a program in the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business at Utah State University.

This is a temporary, part-time, remote position. Candidates are required to live in the USA and must be a US Citizen. This will be verified before an interview is requested. The final candidate must pass a background check and sign an NDA.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the assistant executive director to prioritize Salesforce projects that are most impactful to the Institute
  • Maintain and improve the Institute’s Salesforce CRM system, including:
    • Salesforce Communities
    • Custom objects, fields, reports, and dashboards
    • Database maintenance tasks, including diagnostic tests and duplicate entry cleansing
    • Automations & flows
    • Integration with other platforms
  • Maintain, improve, and write standard work and documentation collaborate with Institute staff to help improve their Salesforce needs
  • Conduct regular training for staff and onboard new employees
  • Work with the USU IT group to maintain systems and keep up to date on University technology

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Must live in the USA and be a US citizen
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in MIS, IT, or related field
  • Experience with prioritizing and managing IT projects
  • Understanding of Windows and Mac operating systems and troubleshooting
  • IT security understanding
  • Cloud Service administration
  • Database design and management

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Salesforce certifications
  • Working knowledge of FormAssembly and Tableau
  • Experience with WordPress

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Friendly and professional people skills
  • Proactive, solution-minded contributor
  • Ability to train and coach
