Culinarian I is a full time benefited position at USU - Blanding Campus. Hours may vary from daytime to evening hours and weekends as needed. The successful applicant will assist cafeteria staff with food prep, customer service and cleaning of kitchen and cafeteria. This position also helps with the periodic cleaning of dormitories.
This position is responsible for the timely, accurate processing of undergraduate admissions applications and decisions. Please note that the position works more with student applications and transcripts than with students directly. The successful applicant must be friendly and enjoy serving students, accurate and detail oriented, self-motivated, organized, and able to work in a fast paced office as a selfless team member.
Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs (GEAR UP) is a federally-funded grant program whose goal is to increase college awareness for underrepresented students and their families/guardians, and to help students develop the skills and preparation necessary to complete high school and attend college.
Under the general direction of the USU Eastern GEAR UP Director or GEAR UP Advisor: works one-on-one or in small groups with graduating high school seniors and families/guardians and first-year student GEAR UP (GU) students to provide mentoring and academic assistance. Addresses the needs of diverse learners; serves as a positive role model; and interacts with students, families/guardians, faculty/staff, and/or administration in a professional manner. Travels to and from high schools within Carbon and Emery counties to serve graduating high school students and prepare them for their first year of college. Attends staff meetings and annual training at the GEAR UP home office at Utah State University Eastern. Annual travel opportunities to a statewide, regional and/or national GEAR UP conference for professional development purposes may occur, if funding is available. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required for special events; such as National GEAR UP Week, National Senior College Signing Day, USU Eastern Leadership Summit, professional development opportunities, or to contact students and families/guardians.

The Dolores Doré Eccles Center for Early Care and Education includes three classrooms/programs: Infant/Toddler (6 weeks through 24 months), Junior Preschool (approximately 2 through 3.5 year olds), and Senior preschool (approximately 3.5 through 5 year olds). The Center serves two primary purposes: 1) to provide and maintain a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for young children in the context of establishing mutually supportive partnerships with families, and 2) to afford a meaningful learning experience for university students earning academic credit in early childhood education and other related disciplines through on-site teaching and mentoring.
The person selected for the position of Toddler Assistant Teacher will be responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and appropriate classroom, supporting the lead teacher in planning, organizing, and implementing an individualized developmentally-based and/or integrated thematic/project approach curriculum as appropriate. The Toddler Assistant Teacher will fill in some of the lead teacher roles when the lead teacher is out of the center for breaks or time off. The general work schedule is Monday through Friday (part time) with variable hours between 8 AM and 3 PM.
USU Housing Maintenance Laborer is responsible for assisting in replacing hot water heaters, changing out furnace filters, light bulbs, smoke alarm batteries, turning over apartments, and some plumbing issues in residence halls.
The Department of Campus Recreation in the Division of Student Affairs at Utah State University seeks a positive, collaborative, and dynamic individual to join our team as our Registered Dietitian. Reporting directly to the Associate Director of Campus Recreation, the Registered Dietitian (RD) is responsible for the development, coordination, implementation, and daily operations of all aspects of the Utah State University nutrition education program. The RD will also be expected to collaborate with the wellness programs of Campus Recreation and Employee Wellness including partnership with the academic department of Nutrition Dietetics and Food Sciences (NDFS). This individual will be a key team member of the Campus Recreation Department, which provides aquatic programs, club sports, fitness/wellness, intramurals, outdoor recreation, special events, extramurals, summer camp, and collaborative programs.

We invite applications for a Postdoctoral Teaching Fellow in Journalism and Communication. This is an academic-year, nine-month appointment for the 2021-2022 school year in the Journalism and Communication at USU Eastern, Price Utah Campus, starting August, 2021. This appointment may be renewed for up to three years, depending on performance and the needs of the department.
The Classroom facilitator will be working at the Utah State University Eastern center in Price. Hours vary depending on need and will be scheduled anytime between 7:30 AM-10:45 PM Monday through Friday, and occasional Saturdays 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM. Hours are scheduled according to the IVC class schedule, plus 15 minutes before any class time. Hours will be up to 19 hours per week and will change with each semester.

The primary function of the TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) Academic Support Mentor is to provide guidance and support to USU Blanding TRIO Student Support Services students based on their unique academic developmental needs. Candidates will mentor students in study cycle strategies, financial literacy and online tutoring in order to increasing student retention and graduation rates. Two (2) positions are available.
This position participates in the coordination and management of multiple aspects of the facilities. This position will coordinate USU Eastern's access control with ServiceNow, SimpleK and S2. The coordinator will be in charge of making sure these programs are organized, updated, managed and running properly, daily. The coordinator will also manage office functions that include: work order coordination, database management, daily office operations, coordination of billing for facilities, maintaining office records and being the point of communication for the help desk.
