The Utah Children’s Project, as part of the ECHO Program, has an immediate opening for a Spanish-Speaking Study Coordinator (Research Technician III) to work as part of a large national children’s health study investigating environmental influences on child health and development. The Environmental Influences on Child Health Outcomes (ECHO) program is an NIH-funded research study. This project will follow children from childhood through adolescence, working with other cohorts totaling more than 50,000 children from diverse backgrounds across the nation. The study focuses on five key pediatric outcomes that have a high public health impact: pre, peri, and postnatal health; upper and lower airways; obesity; neurodevelopment; and positive health.
USU Extension in Salt Lake County is seeking a driven, upbeat individual to serve as a Project Implementation Coordinator (Extension Program Associate) within the Home and Community Department. This person will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operations of multiple community-based program implementation projects. Projects are related to youth substance misuse prevention, parenting education, positive youth development, and other health and wellness, relationship education, and professional development training initiatives. This is a full-time benefited position. Applicants should work well independently and as part of a team. Some evening and weekend work will be necessary.
