Seeking several fish ecology technicians to assist with scientific field research investigating the movement patterns of Rio Grande Silvery Minnow in a contemporary fragmented river in New Mexico using raft-based mobile PIT-tag antennas.
The Institute of Outdoor Recreation and Tourism is hiring four research assistants to assist with several visitor use monitoring and management projects throughout southeastern Utah. Specific duties include conducting on-site surveys with outdoor recreationists at various outdoor recreation access points (trailheads, forest roads, lakes/reservoirs, boat ramps, etc.) throughout the Manti-LaSal National Forest as well as at state parks and state lands on the Colorado River. The data collected through the survey efforts will be used by the USDA National Forest Service, Utah State Parks, and the Utah Division of Forestry, Fire, and State Lands to track visitation patterns and trends, estimate visitors' economic impact, evaluate the condition of outdoor recreation settings and outdoor recreation infrastructure.
The Teaching/Lab Assistant will assist the instructors in the Automotive Technology program.
The Animal Dairy & Veterinary Sciences department seeks a Farm Laborer. The Farm Laborer will assist in the Sheep and Goat Facility.
The Salt Lake County Office of Utah State University Extension seeks qualified individuals who would be responsible for providing enriching afterschool clubs for students. Clubs typically run 1.5 hours a day for 10 weeks. (There are 3 x 10 week long periods in this program). We need educators who have skill or are willing to learn skills in a variety of subject matters; such as, but not limited to Sewing, STEM, Cake Decorating, Music, Art, Etc. Each club required 2.5 hours/day/week and Educators can teach multiple clubs a week.
Classroom facilitator will ensure the classroom is correctly set up for instructor to teach.
