The Office of Events is a growing department whose primary function is to ensure the events hosted by Utah State University, "Exceed Expectations".
Guest Services Representatives are responsible for ensuring a fun, exciting, and safe experience for patrons while attending Utah State University events. The Office of Events is hiring now and for the upcoming school year. The position is on campus.
Guest Services is seeking to fill multiple positions and will be an ongoing search. Opportunities for growth and advancement into departments such as USU Fine Arts, Event Hosting, and Youth Programs including internships and work-study programs.

The position requires some physical activity. Employees must have sufficient strength to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position including heavy lifting and/or pushing and pulling of heavy objects (20+ pounds). Employees must be prepared to assume uncomfortable positions such as crawling, kneeling, and squatting. Employees must also be prepared to stand, walk, ascend, and descend stairs for most of their shift. Additionally, the work environment may include confined or narrow spaces. Employees may work outdoors, may not be protected from weather conditions or contaminants, and may be exposed to extreme temperature fluctuations.
