Overview

The Student Services Coordinator I position is a new position within Student Financial Support. This position is responsible for assisting with a variety of federal student aid projects and processes. This is a 1-year, benefited position (January 2025 through December 2025). The department will entertain 50% - 100% percent of time (20-40 hours per week) in the reviewing and hiring process.

 

The successful applicant must be friendly and enjoy working with people (staff and students). They should also be accurate and detail oriented, self-motivated, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced office as a selfless team member.

 

This is an on-campus position in Logan.

Responsibilities

The Student Services Coordinator will be part of the larger Student Financial Support team and will work collaboratively with all office staff. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience and to learn the intricate details of federal student aid and institutional scholarships. Duties and responsibilities may include:

  • Customer Service
  • Policy & Procedure updates
  • Reviewing daily and weekly reports
  • Completing ServiceNow tasks
  • Auditing and/or reconciling accounts

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Two years of experience in an office setting or an associate degree/vocational training is required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Higher Education
  • Utah State University Experience

  • Strong computer experience—including Excel and Microsoft Suite
  • Demonstrated experience in completing tasks and assignments

Advertised Salary
