Overview

The Ticket Operations Coordinator (Coordinator III) will assist in the overall duties of the University Ticket Office, with a primary focus on supporting University Athletics stakeholders. This role is responsible for setting up ticketed events within the Paciolan system, overseeing game day operations, and providing excellent customer service to various university and community stakeholders. The Ticket Operations Coordinator will also support Fine Arts operations as needed.

Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities:


• Manage and set up all athletic events and seasons, annual fund accounts, and reporting in the Paciolan system.
• Hire, train, schedule, and manage all Ticket Staff (including CCA Ticket Staff) with a primary focus on Athletics events.
• Act as the box office manager for all assigned USU Athletic events and in the absence of the Director or Assistant Director of Ticket Operations during business hours and events.
• Assist with game day operations, including football, men’s and women’s basketball, volleyball, soccer, and gymnastics.
• Oversee the processing, assigning, allocation, and mailing of season tickets for Utah State Football, Volleyball, Men’s and Women’s Basketball, Soccer, and Gymnastics.
• Handle ticketing requests for away games (e.g., football and men’s basketball) while ensuring compliance with NCAA and Mountain West Conference regulations.

 

Financial Responsibilities:

 

• Process cash, check, and credit card sales in accordance with USU and Ticket Office procedures. Prepare ticket office deposits and change funds, ensuring all transactions are accurately reconciled.
• Communicate routinely with the Ticket Staff to ensure compliance.
• Occasionally, coordinate with Big Blue (athletics development) regarding donations.

 

Customer Service and Team Management:


• Provide excellent customer service to stakeholders, including the Department of Athletics, Caine College of the Arts, fans, donors, and university administration.
• Assist in managing approximately 20 part-time ticket sellers.
• Schedule and accurately prepare student Ticket Staff to provide excellent customer service.

 

Administrative Support:


• Assist the Director of Ticket Operations with season ticket fulfillment.
• Provide support for other duties as assigned by the Director of Ticket Operations.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or associates degree plus two years experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience working with NCAA ticketing or athletic/theater events
  • Reconciliation Experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience and/or knowledge of the Paciolan system
  • Supervisory or management experience
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Knowledge of NCAA ticketing policies and procedures
