Up to 3 is seeking an Office Clerk to perform a range of basic office support tasks, monitor electronic records for accuracy and compliance, and participate in public awareness activities.

• Gather initial intake information from parents over the phone, complete developmental screeners with parents, and schedule child evaluations.
• Monitor client charts for compliance with state and program procedures.
• Share program information at public relation events while engaging children and parents who attend these events.
• Use Adobe Sign, Excel, Google, Word, client database, and scheduling software.
• Answer telephones, take messages, and provide general information.
• Complete faxes, update files, and perform other office responsibilities.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Applicants who speak, read, and write fluent Spanish will also translate forms/records and interpret in Spanish over the phone and in person.

Minimum Qualifications

• Previous experience with office work or office-related skills.
• Ability to work well with others of all abilities.
• Ability to perform tasks independently and document accurately.

Preferred Qualifications

• Competent in reading, writing, and verbal communication in English and Spanish.
• Understanding of people with disabilities and disability education regulations.
• Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures.

The Institute for Disability Research, Policy & Practice (IDRPP) is Utah’s federally designated University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (UCEDD). Funding Statement

The Institute for Disability Research, Policy, & Practice is one of the largest research and outreach centers at USU, and we are largely funded through grants, contracts, and fee-for-service programs. All staff positions at the IDRPP are contingent upon funding, and all senior staff at the IDRPP with graduate degrees are responsible for helping to generate funding to support our operations and growth.
