The Department of Veterinary Clinical and Life Sciences (VCLS) in the College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM) at Utah State University (USU) is seeking applicants for a part time instructor to assist with instruction in hands on laboratory settings for the DVM program. The position would be 8-29 hours a week. Start date is August 1, 2025. This individual would attend weekly lab sessions and offer instruction and feedback to students in the DVM program. USU CVM will be admitting its inaugural class of 40 students in the fall of 2025 and supporting a class size of 80 veterinary students in subsequent years. Hands-on clinical skill instruction will be an integral part of the four-year program. Input and feedback from practicing DVMs is very valuable to the training of veterinary students and this position provides an exciting opportunity to shape the skills and knowledge of future veterinary professionals.
Time Commitment and Schedule
This position is for the duration of the academic year, August to May. Workdays will be Monday from 8 am to 5 pm. Specific time commitments may change year to year.
