The Center for the School of the Future (CSF) was established by the Utah Legislature at Utah State University to drive meaningful statewide reforms to public education focused on improving K-12 student academic learning. CSF leadership and staff recognize that schools exist to prepare children to flourish in a democratic society, and in an increasingly global economy. The mission of CSF is to produce equitable educational supports to liberate all students from limited life opportunities by animating their educational assets. To achieve this critical educational outcome for students, we are collaborating around important issues of teacher recruitment and retention, high achieving schools, and empirically validated instructional practices.
