Overview

Incumbents in the Coordinator series perform a combination of program-related and/or administrative functions to support community, social, and instructional programs; and/or coordinate people, information, events, or facilities. As representatives of Utah State University and primary contributors to its mission, all employees are expected to demonstrate professionalism. 

Responsibilities

  • Daily coordination of cafeteria staff.
  • Cook meals and clean dorms according to the needs of the department.
  • Create weekly cafeteria menu.
  • Order food and supplies with vendors as needed.
  • Train new employees.
  • Work with Auxiliaries Director in the execution of catering events.
  • May participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
  • May coordinate program/department activities including, conferences and events.
  • May coordinate and oversee the day-to-day management of supplies, equipment, and facilities for the organization.
  • Responsible for daily cash deposits.
  • May coordinate with Auxiliaries Director about student issues involving food service or housing.
  • Perform year-end inventory for food services.
  • Assist with overall and continual improvement of campus dining services.
  • Coordinate with Auxiliaries Director concerning periodic cleaning of campus housing.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Two years of experience or an associate degree/vocational training is required.
