Overview

Digital Media & Guest Experience Coordinator to be the voice and personality of The Skyroom. This position manages The Skyroom’s online presence, cultivates relationships with guests through thoughtful communication, and represents the restaurant at events, online, and in the community. The coordinator will develop engaging social media content, manage guest feedback across review platforms, and help promote The Skyroom’s identity as a warm, welcoming, and memorable dining experience on campus.

Responsibilities

Social Media & Content Creation

  • Create content for The Skyroom’s official social media accounts
  • Showcase menu items, events, and guest experiences
  • Consistent posting schedule and align content with seasonal offerings and USU campus events
  • Monitor and report on engagement metrics to identify opportunities for growth and improved visibility

Guest & Reputation Management

  • Monitor and respond professionally to online reviews (Google, Yelp, etc.).
  • Uphold The Skyroom's reputation by ensuring timely and brand-aligned responses.
  • Identify trends in guest feedback and share insights with leadership to improve service and operations.
  • Create content and copy for the weekly Newsletter

Event, Support & Representation

  • Assist with event coordination, promotion, and day-of support for marketing events and private functions.
  • Resource to help with all Skyroom NPS tickets
  • Serve as a friendly, professional representative for The Skyroom during events and guest interactions
  • In-person office visits to key clients to enhance relationships.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and writing skills with a professional and engaging tone
  • Experience managing social media platforms, creating content, or photography/videography
  • Customer service or hospitality experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Google Business and feedback response management
  • Ability to represent The Skyroom professionally at events and in-person interactions
  • Availability to work occasional evenings or weekends for special events

Employees work primarily indoors in a typical office setting as well as in the restaurant. This position requires extended periods of sitting, typing, and viewing a computer screen intermixed with extended time standing, walking, and interacting with guests. Occasional movement around campus for meetings, events, or marketing needs may be required. The role may occasionally involve lifting or carrying objects up to 25 pounds.
