Position Summary:
The ServiceNow Junior Developer (Entry-Level) position is a member of the Process Design & Development team and works alongside experienced developers, analysts, and stakeholders to design, build, test, document, and support ServiceNow - Service Catalog items, applications, and workflows used across USU’s ServiceNow platform.
This is an entry-level role designed for candidates who have foundational programming skills and want to build a career on the ServiceNow platform. The Junior Developer will learn ServiceNow development best practices, follow system and university standards, and contribute to implementation and support efforts with coaching and oversight.
A successful candidate will learn and be able to develop basic catalog items and workflows on the ServiceNow within 2-3 months. With additional learning, a junior developer should be able to expand their skillset and tackle more complex workflows and applications within 9-12 months moving from a junior developer to a full developer.
