The Jr Aggies Academy Caregiver position will consist of engaging children in learning and play activities. Time will be spent among the children, playing and providing learning opportunities and help with language development. Clubs typically run 1.5 hours a day for 8-9 weeks. We need assistant educators who have skill or are willing to learn skills in a variety of subject matters; such as, but not limited to Sewing, STEM, Cake Decorating, Music, Art, Etc. Each club required 2.5 hours/day/week and Educators can teach multiple clubs a week. Classes are between 3:30 and 6:00 pm.

USU Extension in Salt Lake County is expanding its Youth Court initiative and is seeking part-time facilitators to support the operations of weekly Youth Court hearings in West Valley and Kearns. The Youth Court program uses a restorative justice-based approach, where referred youth participate in hearings that are run by a panel of their peers. This program provides an alternative justice process for youth who have admitted to engaging in minor offenses, in lieu of going through the formal juvenile court system and having the offense on their record. USU Extension in Salt Lake County is seeking multiple individuals to serve as Community Event Implementation Assistants to support the delivery of educational programs across the Salt Lake area. We are looking for people that are interested in working with children and families, who want to engage in community outreach activities, and who enjoy working as part of a team. Field technician needed to help with plant water use research near Monticello, Utah.  The position requires the successful applicant to work with others in remote locations on uneven ground in potentially difficult conditions (hot, cold, wet). Field work generally occurs from 9AM to 5PM, but timing can vary to meet crew needs (e.g., four, ten hour days) and hours my vary due to holidays and weather.
