Utah State University Extension invites applications for a Program Coordinator Position. The primary duty of the Empowering Financial Wellness (EFW) Program Coordinator II - position is to work with faculty principal investigators and the Project Coordinator to provide day-to-day community outreach and education activities (webinars, train-the-trainer events, online courses, etc.) across Utah. EFW Program Coordinator responsibilities will also include recruiting, teaching, creating resources, social media outreach education, etc. This position is budgeted for 3 years, but may be longer contingent upon funding. Applicants must submit to a background check.   This position will coordinate the day-to-day operational activities of the program education. This program will target women and low-income adults in rural and urban areas of Utah. The EFW unit will reach 12,000 participants (over 3 years) for the targeted clientele. Coordinated community outreach and education events will be in the form of webinars, workshops, train-the-trainer sessions, and online course education. Applicants should be able to work well in a team. Evening and weekend work will be necessary. This position will also provide 1-on-1 coaching and mentorship to unit employees via quarterly face-to-face trainings, weekly webinars, and phone calls.   This person will coordinate with community partners to teach statewide personal finance education and meet requirements of the grant to recruit and serve clients.   This position reports to the USU Extension faculty member principal investigators.
