The Venue Operations Team Leader II (Team Leader Facilities II) works under the direction of a Coordinator to organize the cleaning/maintenance activities in areas across campus that are impacted by events and special projects. This position will require a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays. The employee will be assisting crews in buildings across campus as dictated by events.  This includes but is not limited to  event preparation, event-support, and returning the venue to pre-event condition.  They also assist other Facilities Maintenance crews with events and projects including the project crew, moving crew, window crew, etc.     Schedule Monday-Friday 7am to 3:30pm.  Must be willing to adjust schedule to cover events on nights and weekends.

USU Extension in Wayne County is seeking a creative and positive person to work as a Program Assistant to Extension Faculty. The Utah State University Music Department invites application for a Temporary Assistant Professor/Instructor of Music and Orchestra Director.    The USU Symphony orchestra currently presents four concerts per year and rehearses three times weekly. The orchestra averages 50 players, primarily undergraduate music majors.   This is a full-time, academic-year (9-month) temporary position to begin August 1, 2024 and continue through the 2024-2025 academic year. USU Blanding Campus is accepting applications for candidates to serve as counselors/tutors to participants in the 2024 College Launch Summer Program. This 4-week comprehensive programs offer assistance to first-generation and/or low-income students in academic subjects such as Math, science, STEM, and study skills. Counselors are required to live in the residence hall and will mentor and tutor participants on a daily basis. Room and board will be provided along with a salary of $3,500 for the four weeks. College Launch works with high school seniors. Summer employment begins May 25, 2024 and continues through June 23, 2024.

The Aviation Technology program at USU includes Bachelor of Science degrees in Professional Pilot and Maintenance Management. The Aviation Technology program prides itself in applying cutting-edge technology with exceptional training to produce the best quality of pilots and technicians the industry needs. Professional Pilot graduates receive all Federal Aviation Administration certifications and are trained to be commercial pilots. USU's Regional Jet Flight Simulator gives students hands-on experience in flying a commercial airliner. Tutor positions are open to currently enrolled students and community members who would like to serve in a tutoring capacity while positively representing the institution. A tutor will provide individual and small group tutoring to students through a walk-in tutoring center or by appointment. A tutor will help students who enroll in mathematics or life and physical science courses to understand the course material and learning objectives. A tutor will assist them in concept development, problem solving, and study skills. A tutor should have the essential characteristics of professionalism, skill-sets in subject area, and ability to devote adequate time to the position.
