The Garfield County Office of Utah State University Extension seek a qualified individual who would be responsible for providing enriching afterschool clubs for students. Instructor Positions are available at all three Garfield County Sites (Bryce Valley, Escalante, and Panguitch). The Anthropology Program at USU seeks a Tenure-track Assistant Professor in Biological Anthropology for a (9 month), full-time appointment beginning August 1, 2024. We seek applicants who study contemporary human biological variation with potential research foci on: Nutrition, fertility, stress, biodemography, genetics, infectious disease, health disparities, or microbiome research. Swaner Preserve and EcoCenter is seeking driven teens to work as camp counselors during Summer camp 2024. - Camp Counselor IIs will assist with daily summer camp activities and functions for nearly 40 camps offered form June – August that take place both on the Swaner Preserve and in the EcoCenter. The San Juan County Office of Utah State University Extension is seeking qualified individuals to fill multiple 4-H Afterschool Educator positions. As a 4-H Afterschool Educator, you will be required to provide enriching 4-H afterschool clubs for students at Blanding Elementary School. - 4-H Afterschool Educators need to be available Monday-Thursday 3:00 pm-6:00 pm for the entire 23-24 academic school year. - The position will pay $15.00 per hour for up to 12hrs per week. - This position can also be continued as an educator for the Blanding Elementary Summer School program for up to 20hrs per week.

The Prevention Specialist will support the development, implementation, management, evaluation, and institutionalization of USU’s employee education programs to respond to and prevent sexual misconduct. This position will strengthen USU’s sexual misconduct prevention efforts using a public health approach to promote the health and safety of USU faculty and staff. The Prevention Specialist will also support USU’s bias and discrimination response and prevention efforts for employees, specifically through facilitating relevant trainings.   This position will use a strategic, proactive, and collaborative approach to help implement sexual misconduct and discrimination prevention plans for employees. The Prevention Specialist will work outside of regular business hours on average 2-3 times a month. Some travel from the main campus in Logan to other USU campuses is required.

The Classroom Facilitator will work at the Utah State University campus in Moab. The Department of Environment and Society (ENVS) at Utah State University (USU) invites applications for two term appointment faculty teaching positions (Lecturer or Professional Practice Assistant Professor) to support a new program in Remote Sensing and Geospatial Artificial Intelligence (GeoAI). We seek candidates who can holistically apply innovative GeoAI methods such as machine and deep learning, multidimensional data analysis, and big data visualization to natural resource applications. Teaching areas may include remote sensing, GeoAI applications in natural resources, geospatial programming courses in Python, ethics related to geospatial data and artificial intelligence, Google Earth Engine, and geovisualization techniques specific to remote sensing. The Department of Veterinary Clinical and Life Sciences (VCLS) at the Utah State University College of Veterinary Medicine (USU CVM) seeks a faculty member in Clinical Pathology. The Utah State University Eastern Athletic Department is seeking a part-time Certified Assistant Athletic Trainer. This position will be responsible for maintaining and operating an in-house athletic training program and providing athletic training needs to all athletic teams.
